Elegant white florals, warm candlelight, and timeless fall romance.

There is something magical about a Sugarloaf Country Club wedding in the fall. As the Georgia trees begin to turn shades of amber and crimson, the rolling golf course provides a breathtaking backdrop for an elegant outdoor ceremony and classic reception.

For this beautiful wedding at TPC Sugarloaf, our team at The Cottage Florals & Event Design designed timeless floral installations that embraced the beauty of the season while maintaining a refined palette of soft ivory, creamy champagne, fresh greenery, and warm candlelight. The result was a celebration that felt sophisticated, romantic, and effortlessly elegant.

Bride and groom celebrate their ceremony recessional at a Sugarloaf Country Club wedding surrounded by lush white floral urn arrangements overlooking the golf course.

Outdoor Ceremony Overlooking the Golf Course

One of the reasons couples love a Sugarloaf Country Club wedding is the stunning ceremony location overlooking the lake and championship golf course.

Rather than a traditional floral arch or other large structure the ceremony featured elevated white pedestals topped with lush garden-inspired urn arrangements that could be repurposed to the reception space as table centerpieces.

The paired arrangements framed the couple perfectly while allowing the spectacular golf course views to remain the focal point. The classic white pedestals created height and architectural interest without distracting from the natural beauty surrounding the ceremony.

A Soft Fall Color Palette

Although this was an autumn wedding, the floral palette remained light and timeless rather than embracing traditional oranges and burgundy.

The bride chose a romantic bouquet featuring:

  • Moab Garden Roses
  • Ivory roses
  • White ranunculus
  • White stock
  • Textural accents
  • Soft eucalyptus

The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet that beautifully complemented their terracotta dresses. Together, the warm dresses and neutral florals perfectly reflected the richness of fall while maintaining a classic, elegant aesthetic.

Timeless Reception Flowers with Warm Candlelight

Inside the ballroom, guests were welcomed into a warm and inviting reception filled with glowing candlelight and lush floral designs.

The reception featured a thoughtful combination of floral styles to create visual interest throughout the room.

Low garden centerpieces surrounded glowing pillar candles inside clear glass hurricanes, adding warmth and intimacy to each guest table.

Tall centerpiece arrangements filled with white hydrangeas, roses, and fresh greenery created dramatic focal points while maintaining an open feel across the room.

The combination of elevated arrangements and low candle-centered designs added dimension without overwhelming the elegant ballroom.

A Romantic Fireplace Focal Point

One of our favorite details from this Sugarloaf Country Club wedding was the fireplace installation.

A lush floral meadow of hydrangeas, roses, stock, and greenery cascaded across the mantel beneath the grand mirror, creating an elegant backdrop that enhanced the reception space.

This installation helped tie together the ceremony florals and reception décor, creating a cohesive design from beginning to end.

Why We Love Weddings at Sugarloaf Country Club

TPC Sugarloaf offers couples one of the most picturesque wedding venues in the Atlanta area.

Some of our favorite features include:

  • Beautiful outdoor ceremony location overlooking the lake
  • Mature trees that create stunning fall color
  • Elegant clubhouse architecture
  • Beautiful indoor reception spaces
  • Gorgeous golf course views for portraits
  • Seamless indoor and outdoor flow throughout the wedding day

Every season offers something unique, but fall weddings at Sugarloaf Country Club are especially breathtaking as the changing leaves provide natural beauty that requires very little enhancement.

Designing Wedding Flowers That Feel Timeless

Our goal for every wedding is to create floral designs that feel just as beautiful twenty years from now as they do on wedding day.

For this celebration, we intentionally combined classic white blooms with soft champagne accents, layered greenery, and warm candlelight to create an atmosphere that felt elegant rather than trendy.

From the ceremony urns to the romantic reception centerpieces, every floral element was designed to complement the venue’s architecture while highlighting the incredible beauty of the surrounding landscape.
